The county's Department of Health offers resources for LGBT health and mental health.

The Westchester County Clerk's Office offers a Domestic Partner Registry for unmarried couples who would like to have their relationship documented and recognized. All of the information about registering is available online or by calling (914) 995-3070.

Couples can register by submitting an affidavit to the Legal Division of the County Clerk's Office located at 110 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Room 330 in White Plains. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., Monday through Friday. Appointments are not necessary.

Empire State Pride Agenda

This organization's sole purpose is to secure the freedom and the right of same-sex couples to legally marry.  The web site gives a comprehensive explanation of the facts about why marriage rights are important.

National Gay and Lesbian Task Force
The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force builds the grassroots power of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community by training activists, equipping state and local organizations with the skills needed to organize broad-based campaigns, and building the organizational capacity of our movement.
